Joalda Morancy

Joalda Morancy is an aerospace engineer and science communicator. They have a degree in astrophysics and are currently pursuing a PhD in space engineering. Their passion for space exploration began in high school after watching a YouTube video about life aboard the International Space Station. Joalda loves doing science communication to the general public, and is especially passionate about inspiring children from underrepresented backgrounds to study STEM subjects. Currently, at Blue Origin, they work on the lunar lander that will be used in NASA’s upcoming Artemis missions to the Moon.
